Kosovska Mitrovica, Jan 3, 2007 - The Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija has condemned the blockade of Babin Most village, municipality of Obilic, during the investigation of murder of a police officer on the Pristina-Kosovska Mitrovica road.

The blockade of the village, search of houses and maltreatment of the Serb population for hours happened immediately after the murder of Kosovo police member, according to the statement.

According to unofficial information, the murdered officer was another victim of Albanian bandits and terrorist gangs whose masked members are terrorising citizens of Kosovo-Metohija without any disturbance.

KFOR and UNMIK are aware of their actions but have not done anything so far to eliminate them. Contrary to that, they used the terrorists' crime to maltreat Serbs in Babin Most, the statement added.
