Del Ponte censors Kosovo's TV station

Pristina - ICTY's chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte banned airing an interview of the former Kosovo's Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, which was scheduled for broadcasting Wednesday night on the Kosovo's TV station "21".

UNMIK's spokesman Neeraj Sing confirmed the information, noting that Haradinaj had been granted a permission to give the interview.

Del Ponte requested from UNMIK to prohibit airing of the interview afterwards, for as yet unknown reasons.

Haradinaj was temporary released from custody, pending trial at the Hague Tribunal.
